Meet the heart-centered creative behind the lens and podcast mic
You'll often find me with a camera in hand and a cup of coffee nearby. As a Type B mom who embraces messy play and outdoor adventures, I've learned that life's most precious moments rarely fit into perfect boxes — and that's exactly what makes them worth capturing.
My journey hasn't always been straightforward. For years, I tucked away my dream of becoming a full-time photographer, believing it could only ever be a fantasy. I worked jobs that left me feeling disconnected and stuck, wondering if there was something more. It wasn't until I surrounded myself with the right community that I found the courage to take that leap of faith… and discovered it was only my own limiting beliefs that had been holding me back all along.
Now, I split my time between capturing authentic wedding moments across Evansville and beyond, mentoring photographers who crave more intention in their businesses, and hosting conversations on my podcast about creating a life that truly lights you up.
This philosophy threads through everything I create, whether I'm helping a couple design a wedding day that feels authentically them, guiding a photographer back to their original passion, or sharing mindfulness practices on my podcast. I believe in creating spaces where people feel safe enough to exhale, explore what truly matters to them, and imagine new possibilities for their lives.
For wedding couples, this means gently checking in when something feels like an obligation rather than a choice. It means slowing down to appreciate the significance of what you're creating together. It means remembering that your wedding day is about you—not Pinterest boards or family expectations.
For photographers and creatives I mentor, it means creating space to reconnect with the spark that first drew you to your craft. It means building a business that supports your life, not consumes it. It means giving yourself permission to define success on your own terms.
For everyone I work with, it means celebrating the beautiful uniqueness of your journey and providing the tools, support, and inspiration to create a life that feels expansive and fulfilling.
I've invested deeply in my own healing and growth journey, and believe that personal development work is never really "done" (thank goodness!)
I previously owned an online women's clothing boutique
I'm definitely a Type B mom: dirt, messy play, and outdoor exploration are always welcome in my world
I believe in celebrating the small moments as much as the big ones; sometimes the quiet Tuesday afternoons hold just as much beauty as the milestone celebrations
I've called five different states home: Illinois, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kentucky, and now Indiana
I met my husband at a college bar, and our first date was in Tulsa after he bought me a plane ticket to come see him (talk about a bold move that paid off!)
